Great news for pop music enthusiasts and lovers of Janet Jackson as she recently announced her world tour would resume in September.
This came on the back of several postponements last year as she took a break to start a family.
On 3 January, her son Eissa was born. She described him as a “happy baby” in a message to her fans. In the video, she spoke about her from Wissan Al Mana the baby’s father stating they were in court and that the verdict rests “in God’s hands”.
With her music tour resuming on the seventh of September, 55 dates have been confirmed this autumn in venues in the US and Canada. However, 21 dates are yet to be confirmed for the European leg of the tour prompting rumors that they may be rescheduled.
The tour was also renamed to “The state of the world Tour” from “Unbreakable Tour”. She was however quick to point out that the Tour was about “the world”. State of the world is one of the tracks off Rhythm Nation, her 1989 album.
She thanked her fans for their patience, stated she was “so excited”, and couldn’t wait to see them “on stage”
